Friends of BioSciences
We invite you to assist the Department of BioSciences in providing faculty support and transformative educational experiences for our students by giving through this online form. Your financial contributions will enable BioSciences faculty to engage in new research endeavors and provide opportunities for our students to conduct independent research projects and travel to national research conferences. In addition, there are opportunities to provide competitive student awards for outstanding undergraduate and graduates students who excel in research, teaching and mentoring, and leadership among their peers. These and other giving opportunities are detailed below.
The Department of BioSciences hosts a Vanzant lecture series and if you would like to be informed of the schedule, or if you would just like to receive our occasional newsletter, please contact the department at bios@rice.edu and request to be added to our community contact list. This lecture series is enabled by a gift from the Vanzant family of Houston.
Sincerely,
Ed Nikonowicz
Professor and Department Chair of BioSciences
