Both the BCB and EEB graduate programs have active Graduate Student Associations (GSAs). The GSAs coordinate the annual department research retreat in August and are integral to the process of recruiting new graduate students. In addition, the BCB GSA hosts a student-led journal club throughout the academic year, along with monthly events including sports nights, movie nights, and volunteer opportunties in the Houston area. The EEB GSA hosts additional academic and social events, including the annual renowned crawfish boil. If you are interested in getting involved or learning more about the GSAs, please see contact information below for our GSA officers.
