BioSciences Undergraduate Program Overview
The Department of BioSciences announces new degree programs with the following major concentrations: Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Genetics, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Integrative Biology. In addition, a Minor in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and a Minor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology are offered. The department participates in two interdisciplinary majors, Neuroscience and Environmental Science, and an accelerated BA/MS/PhD program that leads to the master's and PhD degrees in Biochemistry & Cell Biology. Students matriculating on or before Fall 2019 will be able to select one of the old majors or one of the new majors; more details can be found in the 2020-2021 General Announcements. All major degree paths will prepare students for graduate, medical, or other professional schools and a wide range of careers in the life sciences.
