Biosciences Undergraduate Program Overview
The Department of Biosciences sponsors the following major concentrations in Biosciences: Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Genetics, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and Integrative Biology. In addition, a Minor in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and a Minor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology are offered. The department participates in two interdisciplinary majors, Neuroscience and Environmental Science, and an accelerated BA/MS/PhD program that leads to the master's and PhD degrees in Biochemistry & Cell Biology. All major degree paths will prepare students for graduate, medical, or other professional schools and a wide range of careers in the life sciences.
